3rd Grade Woodland Recess
My kids have the incredible good fortune of attending a school that happens to be located on a campus with woods, streams, trails, rock outcroppings and more. After Elements ended I have been assisting my 3rd grader's class as we piloted a Woodland Recess initiative. Schedule permitting, we would meet every Tuesday at 1:45 and enjoy 45 -60 minutes in the woods. We split the class into 2 groups - Team Stream and Trail and Team Woods and off we would venture.
