CAMPING 101

Staying toasty under the Emergency Blanket aka The Hershey Kiss
Camping 101

We travelled ('mind' travel that is) to Teton National Park where we imagined we were high in the mountains, bear country in fact.  We learned a bit about siting a camp,  hanging a bear bag, pitching tents, erecting emergency shelters, hammock hanging and finally - how to treat a comrade showing signs of hypothermia.  After all the travel - we came back for a great game of Our Own Back Yard"  Trivial Pursuit.

Our 9 Bridgers (6th Graders) had a beautiful day to learn the techniques of bouldering.  They did a great job!

Enjoy!

Hmmm - How to hang a Bear bag. . . .

More than one way to get the job done.

There's no way a bear can get to that bag (see red bag suspended between the trees).
